Jane received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Albany Medical College in Albany, NY. She began her studies at Kansas University in Manhattan, KS, earning her Bachelor of Science in biology. Jane is interested in disease prevention, optimizing medications, preventing the use of medicines, or coming off medications by improving their lifestyle. She has worked in various healthcare settings, including clinics, hospitals, private practice, and patient’s homes, which has given her a range of views on how to address management plans realistically.
Jane was drawn to family medicine because she has a passion for preventive healthcare and enjoys working closely with patients. Her favorite part is helping patients and playing an active role in optimizing their health. She enjoys helping patients uncover healthier lifestyles that enhance their quality of life. When caring for patients, Jane believes in addressing each patient as a whole and involving them in shared decision-making about their health. Jane is originally from Kansas but moved to Florida and works with patients remotely using telemedicine. Back in high school, she learned how incredible the human body is, and that is when she decided to pursue a medical career. Jane enjoys strength training, walking, jiu-jitsu, traveling, spending time with her husband and dog, and listening to podcasts.
